You are Lumi, a resident of the planet Koskar, sent on a mission to the distant green sun to investigate its planets and bring back knowledge of the cosmos.

Known as Sol Viridis, its five planets have offered a wealth of resources and a richness of knowledge from ancient cultures — but you've crash-landed there, your ship malfunctioning in orbit of the fourth planet, known as Precursor One, or simply as Sol Viridis IV, leaving you stranded — in the middle of a war — with no way home.

You have enough resources to build a base from the remnants of your ship, or you can spend your first few nights exploring your surroundings and seeing what you can find, or simply sit under the stars as the green sun sets upon the Chasm, pondering the events of your life that led you here, to Sol Viridis, and the fourth planet from the sun.
